China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products: Expected Export of Enterprises

China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products on the 18th in the 123th Canton Fair, said that the Chamber of Commerce of the current Canton Fair nearly 600 Chinese mechanical and electrical enterprises were investigated, according to preliminary statistical analysis, the current business demand for exports, the international market is expected to be better.

 

The chamber of commerce stated that the current China Fair for Mechanical and Electrical enterprises expects the export situation to be better than the same period of last year. In terms of the expected export situation in the second quarter of 2018, 53.7% of the enterprises are expected to achieve growth; 28.7% of enterprises expect the export situation to be basically the same as last year; 17.5% of enterprises expect the export situation to decline. In view of the export situation in 2018, 56.5% of the enterprises are expected to achieve growth.

 

The confidence of the Chinese electromechanical enterprises in this session of the Canton Fair has been enhanced. The proportion of companies expected to perform well in Asia, North America, Europe, and Africa is 59.1%, 36.2%, 45.9%, and 40.2%, respectively.

 

The awareness of R&D and innovation of the Chinese mechanical and electrical enterprises of the Canton Fair increased, and the proportion of self-owned brands increased. 47.1% of the companies said that the R&D expenditures for science and technology have increased compared with the same period of last year, 50.6% of the companies have remained at the same level as the same period of last year; 19.5% of the enterprises' own-brand exports have increased compared to the same period of last year, and 77% of the companies have remained at the same level as last year.

 

At the same time, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products pointed out at this session of the Canton Fair that Chinese electromechanical companies “go global” due to the global market layout or the need to circumvent international trade barriers, and that foreign economic and trade cooperation zones can help enterprises survive better. The benefits are significant, and the profits made have also returned to China for reinvestment.
